SO FAR: analysis of research

MoNey$:
I have analysed my results from viewrs comments so far and have already recieved enough information to conclude that the best price for my magazine would be £1.50. I will keep this statitic on going as i am aware that other candidates might want to publish a comment on my blog. I have also found out what other consumers will prefer a magazine to have and what they really hate about magazines so that a well rounded magazine production can flourish.
I have looked into what types of other magazines are going to be my leading competitors and at the moment there does't seem to be a music magazine that is eclectic. They all currently are confined to one type of genre e.g. NME is based on rock music, Kerrang is based on rock music, Vibe is based on RnB & hip hop. As these magazines just refer to one type of genre in music, i hope to develop a magazine that incorporates all these ideas to produce an overall eclectic music magazine broadening the horizons, appealing to social groups of every kind. This magazine is aimed at an intended taget audience of 14-19 yr olds but as reasearch indicates, younger people may read the magazine. I understand the overall consequence of this and as a result i am going to keep the presentation of total nudity void from the production. This will show that i have taken into consideration other aspects of the mutual magazne production.
I have found a few statistics from sources on the internet. memory.loc.gov/ammem/awhhtml/awser2/statistics.html) Here is what i found out:
That 6% of people that regularly read magazines in the UK are male.
That 30% of people who regurlarly read magazines in the UK are female.
75% of teenager readers look for the lowest prices and 73% go for frequent sales.
This shows that teenagers are very cost concious and thus i will produce a magazine that will relfect what my reasearch has concluded in a bid to reach out to the demand for an excellent, fairly priced teenage music magazine.
