For my media coursework i have decided to produce a new teenage music magazine aimed at young teens from the age of 14 to 19. My magazine will consist of a front cover and 1 double page spread that will enlist ideas thus produced. I have selected this age group because i believe that teens in this bracket are most influential to the music market. I aim to reflect this belief by gathering some reasearch information in the form of a questionnaire. I will need help, so to all you people out there, plz spend a minute to help a G out and fill out my questionnaire. Rispect. My magazine will contain exclusive interviews of pop stars and my main aim will be to not restrict my magazine to any one type of music but to rather diverge and be an eclectic mix for all types. What will make my magazine stand out from all other magazines and will be the main selling point for it will the fact that this magazine will provide you with all the latest news about your fav celebs 1st through exclusive interviews. It will also include music reviews about the latest released albums and recommendations from a judging panel made of people like yourself. i must stress that this is a magazine based on your views to. Every reader has an opportunity to give a shout out and voice their opininons about what latest tunes they think are hot and what is not. Today i have looked at front cover layouts. The focus of my studies today is to criticise but also appreciate techniques used to gain the attention of the targeted group the the use of 'eye catching' layouts and images used. To start of i will be carrying out some reasearch into the layout of magazines and also what the consumers demands are. I will use the internet to carry out my analysis of other magazines already out there and will also produce a questionnaire to see what people would like. Wish me luck.
